¿Que es mejor, Ibiza o Formentera?

Ibiza Project

Which is better, Ibiza or Formentera?

Sometimes we get asked:“Which is better, Ibiza or Formentera?”
And the answer, frankly, is almost always the same: It depends on what you're looking for.
Because even though they're just a short ferry ride away, they're two very close islands… but with completely different personalities. And that's precisely the beauty of it: you can choose the one that suits you best, or even combine both.
In fact, it's one of our favorite recommendations: one year Ibiza and the next Formentera.or a week in Ibiza and one inFormentera
And if you do both on the same trip, here's a very practical tip:
It starts with Ibiza and ends in Formentera. Ibiza is bigger, more active, requires more movement… and Formentera is the perfect ending to slow down and relax.
We'll tell you why.
Ibiza: an island to discover, with a thousand nuances
Ibiza is much more than just partying (although yes, that's part of it too).
It is a vibrant island, full of contrasts, different corners, and plans that change every day.
Distances are longer here, and many spectacular beaches require about a 30-minute drive. That's why we always recommend renting a car rather than a motorbike: it gives you comfort and the freedom to explore without getting tired.
Ibiza is for you if…
●    Do you feel like it? discover: coves, villages, markets, roads through nature.
●    You like feeling that every day can be different.
●    You want to combine the sea with gastronomy, culture and local life.
●    Even if the weather is bad, you want to have alternatives: Dalt Vila, museums, shops, charming restaurants.
And yes, it's also an island where there's something happening every night: events, music, beach clubs, different atmospheres depending on the area.
In addition, many beach clubs can be booked in advance, which is important during peak season.
Ibiza has that contagious energy: joy, movement, life.
Formentera: the art of doing nothing and doing it well
Formentera, on the other hand, is a different story. It's smaller, simpler, and more relaxed. It's an island that invites you to turn down the volume.
It is perfect for those who want holidays focused on the sea, rest, and tranquility.
Formentera is for you if…
●    You want to spend the day going from beach to beach without long journeys.
●    You're traveling with your family and you'd rather not spend time in the car.
●    You're looking for a quieter atmosphere at night, with fewer options but plenty of charm.
●    Do you fancy an island where even in August the air is a little cooler?
Getting around here by motorbike is very convenient. We only recommend avoiding bicycles during peak season: it's hot, there's little shade, and it can be tougher than it looks.
Formentera has nature, yes, but if the weather turns bad, there are fewer options away from the beach. And the overall style is simpler: smaller accommodations, fewer options, and a more "slow" feel.
One important detail: in Formentera Sun loungers and parasols cannot be reserved. So it's a good idea to get organized.
One piece of advice that applies to both: plan with care.
In both Ibiza and Formentera, especially in summer, it's key to travel a little in advance:
●    restaurant reservations
●    beach clubs (solo and Ibiza)
●    boats
●    transfers
●    charming accommodations
And this is where we come in.
In Ibiza ProjectWe know both islands from the inside and help our clients organize their holidays in a personalized way, without stress and with that "this fits you" touch.
If you'd like, we also offer a concierge service to manage bookings and details... so you can just enjoy yourself.
We want to make this clear: Ibiza and Formentera don't compete. They complement each other.
One is energy and discovery.
The other is calm and endless sea.
And the best part is that they're there, waiting for you.
Shall we talk and design it together?
