In Santa Gertrudis, life clearly moves at a different pace. For many, the countryside is the true soul, the most traditional Ibiza, as well as being the geographical heart of the island. This town is located at the crossroads between the city of Eivissa, Sant Miquel, Sant Llorenç and Sant Mateu.

It's an oasis just a few kilometers away yet light years away from the chaos of modern Ibiza, even in high season. Not surprisingly, many new residents have been seduced by their charm and choose them as their residence.

This place has a great past of artists and musicians attracted by the local bohemian atmosphere, which embodies the freedom and hospitable spirit of the island.

Santa Gertrudis maintains the look and feel of an authentic Spanish town. Although it has been built over the years, like many parts of the island, the buildings seem to respect tradition and the center remains small and well organized around the square with its charming typical white church (completed at the end of the 18th century and becoming the ideal setting for a dream wedding), bars, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, artisan and artist shops... all tailor-made for men.

It is also the perfect place to eat because of its atmosphere and food: traditional cuisine in essence but also of international influence for being a multi-ethnic place.
