Ibiza Half Marathon 2017

Travel to Ibiza and participate in one of the major sport events of the year in the Balearic Islands!

In 2017, as always, the arrival of spring in the Pitiusas Islands will open a season of major sporting competitions, which will have a first highlight with the Half Marathon of Ibiza.

The island one again sets up its appointment with all runners, for this long-awaited race, this year scheduled on April 30th.

Now in its fifth edition, as always the competition will attract hundreds of people, between participants and spectators, for what is going to be a truly exciting sport festival.

The unique landscape of the White Island, with its coastline and the wonderful views of the interior, will be the breathtaking scenery of this event not to be missed.

Profiting from May 1st break, this is an ideal occasion for visiting the island when, in the quiet off-season, its nature shows all its wild beauty.

And, of course, to do outdoor activities and engage in a bit of healthy competition.

The races, this year, will be run over two distances:

21 Km
The main event. It starts at 9.30 am, from San Josep de Sa Talaia Town Hall, with arrival in Ibiza city, through a route that from the center of the island leads to the splendor of the coastline.
Maximum time to complete the Marathon: 2h30min.

10 Km
A shorter and less demanding race. Starts at 9.15 am.
Maximum time to complete the Marathon: 90 min.

The competitions are open to all who wish to participate (born before 1999). The group members will be divided into categories, depending on gender and age.

Hurry up! Registrations are already open and the cost is subject to discounts for those who subscribe to it well in advance.
