Is May already here? Winter passes quickly on the island, with its warm temperatures and incredible sunny days to enjoy a quiet island without excesses.

But for those of us who have been living here since April there is already an air of the season, of the desire for summer and - albeit little by little - the beginning of tourists who begin to arrive to visit the Pitiusas. This year the Holy Week has given the starting signal to the season 2024, and in what a way! Parties, events and social gatherings for all tastes. Today we bring you the event par excellence of May that, if you come to the island or reside in it, you can not miss. We are talking about Eivissa Medieval Fair, which this year will be held on May 9, 10, 11 and 12.

During these days, the old town of Eivissa, known as Dalt Vila, is transformed into a medieval market where there is room for peddlers, nobles, fakirs, snake charmers or minstrels. It is a big party with which the Eivissa Town Hall celebrates the declaration by Unesco of four natural and cultural elements of the island as World Heritage Sites: the walls of Dalt Vila, the Necropolis of Puig des Molins, the Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta and the Posidonia meadows. This declaration took place in December 1999.

During this edition will be added the Vara de Rey promenade and the Martillo, in the port of Ibiza, which will become scenarios that will complete the big party that every year is visited by thousands of people.
